From Webflow to a solution that can carry the festival
CPH:DOX is Copenhagen's documentary film festival, taking audiences through true stories from all over the world. The festival's website ran on Webflow, but it needed a more robust solution, tailored to the festival.
The task was to design and build a new website in WordPress that could handle large amounts of data and work with the systems the festival uses.
A website that grew with the festival
Launched in 2020, extended every year
We launched the website in 2020. It is optimised to handle large amounts of data, and from launch it was extended and upgraded every year.
The festival system in charge, WordPress on display
An integration between WordPress and the festival system synchronises data from the external system, giving the festival full control over its content. Login is also closely integrated with the festival system.
Tickets straight from the website
The big step in 2023 was the integration with the festival's new ticket system. With it, users could buy tickets directly on the CPH:DOX website.
