Two booking systems under one roof
Volour is the love child of the booking agencies Klikbook and CBIT: one app that brings together the best beauty professionals across Denmark. Hairdressers, beauticians, massage therapists, nail technicians, stylists and makeup artists, all in one place.
Volour and Klikbook are both booking systems for beauty clinics. Once they had moved under one roof, the company had two brands but needed one shared identity.
One app, not several data sources
The systems also had to work together. When you book an appointment, you should not be able to tell that the app is talking to several data sources behind the scenes. It should simply feel like one app.

We developed a design that united the two brands and gave the company as a whole a recognisable, professional identity.
React Native and Google Maps
We built the app itself in React Native with a Google Maps integration. There, users could find local clinics and book appointments directly.
Onwards with an in-house team
The launch went well, and afterwards Volour set aside resources for an in-house team, which carried on working on the solution.
