From nine analysts to 1,600 employees

In 2004, nine analysts founded a financial advisory firm. Since then, Söderberg & Partners has grown to 1,600 employees and become the leading independent adviser in the Nordics on insurance, pensions and financial products.

Part of their success is that they can advise clients in a user-friendly, clear system. That used to mean manual entry in an in-house Excel solution.

A very large and very colourful spreadsheet

In 2015, Söderberg & Partners came to us to turn the Excel solution into a more intuitive system that was easier to update. From a very large and very colourful spreadsheet, we developed the first version of the browser application Market@wise for the Danish advisers.

The Excel solution has been archived. Market@wise has since grown and become an important tool across the whole group.

Advice the client can see

A quick, visual overview

The adviser only has to go through a short process of entering the client's basic details. Then Market@wise runs the calculations and shows the options the client can be offered, with the pros and cons of the different pensions and insurance policies. Red, yellow and green colour coding compares the companies with each other.

The client looks on

The client and the adviser can explore the options together on the adviser's iPad and see what even small parameters mean for the different schemes. For example, they can adjust for loss of working capacity and see where the differences between the schemes lie.

Always the latest figures

The system always has the latest figures from all the major pension and insurance companies. A data manager at Söderberg & Partners can easily update the underlying data in their own interface, so the advisers always make relevant offers. Market@wise has been developed continuously, so Söderberg & Partners can stay ahead in their industry.
