The Challenge
When DSV Transport first came to us, they faced a number of challenges with their digital touchpoints towards employees, customers, and drivers. They simply weren’t being used. The user experience, performance, and support for daily workflows were lacking. More than 35% of drivers didn’t use the mobile app intended for submitting delivery notes and other data.
Since then, we have worked closely with the dedicated team at DSV Transport, designing and developing a range of business-critical solutions. All with a shared goal of making it easy to be a DSV Transport client, while optimising business performance and reducing errors. This case covers a brief walkthrough of three key solutions. The Truck Log app handles 99% of bookings
To replace slow, paper-based workflows, we developed the Truck Log app for DSV Transport, giving drivers an easy way to manage their bookings, upload weighing slips, and report incidents on the go.
With both a native app for internal drivers and a web version for external hauliers, the solution is widely adopted, now handling over 99% of bookings across all departments. It has helped DSV gain near real-time operational insights, reduce invoicing errors, and improve both forecasting and billing frequency.

The solution
Client & haulier portal with high performance data management
To meet rising expectations for data access, we helped DSV Transport modernize their outdated customer portal into a fast, role-based platform.
Built on the existing backend and integrated with Truck Log, the new solution gives foremen, hauliers, and office staff tailored access to schedules, bookings, financials, and emissions data. Thanks to a shared middle layer, we ensured smooth data management and high performance, displaying over 60,000 data points in just 4.4 seconds.
Car Tetris supporting the planners of 400 truck drivers
Every day, DSV Transport’s planning team is responsible for coordinating bookings for around 400 truck drivers across multiple departments. The planning process, being done day-to-day, was complex, time-consuming, and lacked a clear visual overview. As a result, planners had to juggle spreadsheets, phone calls, and siloed systems to make things work.
For this we created Car Tetris, a visual planning tool. The tool clearly displays drivers, bookings, and available capacity, replacing multiple spreadsheets with one user-friendly interface. This has simplified daily planning tasks and reduced errors significantly.
