World-class financial learning platform for women
Female Invest is a global, financial education and investment platform designed to empower women to take control of their money, learn about investing, and build wealth with confidence.
They approached us in 2025 with high ambitions for the next major evolution of their app: Scaling it to introduce more personal and inspiring learning paths and driving up engagement in their members-only community of over +85,000 women worldwide.
Working as one combined team
We formed one unified development team together with Female Invest’s internal engineers and designers, working collaboratively on a shared roadmap.
The joint vision was twofold:
- Lay the technical and architectural foundation for Female Invest 3.0, ensuring a stable, high-quality version of the app that users could rely on every day.
- Deliver on the ambitious new Female Invest 3.0 roadmap, including personal learning paths linked to educational courses, daily news, articles and live webinars, as well as their trading simulator ‘Playvest’, using virtual money but real stocks and data.
While Female Invest led the design direction and future product vision, Abtion led the technical execution needed to make that vision realistically achievable.

The solution
Parallel tracks and ambitious deadlines
The core challenge was to enhance the existing codebase while simultaneously preparing for a significant upcoming product transformation and then build upon it.
Our focus included React Native development for iOS and Android, performance and code quality improvements, strengthened API integrations, and optimised the app’s internal structure, all while keeping the live app running smoothly for users.
Our merged teams worked in parallel tracks to deliver on the new roadmap, and ensured progress across all upcoming milestones.
Consistently strong App Store ratings
The app now runs on a far stronger and more scalable technical foundation, which is reflected in consistently strong App Store ratings with over 5.000 5-star reviews.
An extensive backlog of value added features have already been launched to users, and we are privileged to continue to work closely with the team at Female Invest on their future product vision and roadmap.
